Set in the barren mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Panaah follows the story of a refugee who lives in total isolation, avoiding any contact with the outside world, only to learn that life itself is unavoidable and that's what makes it so beautiful.
Panaah was my thesis film and it is a completely visual narrative without any dialogue. The idea was to tell a story using the film language only, allowing the story to truly be borderless and prompting the viewer to let their imagination run free.
